Who has the best fans in sports? There are crazy fans all over the world that are die-hards and would do just about anything to see their team win. We will be kicking off a mini-series on the best fan bases in the four major sports in the U.S..

It will include the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL. The series will focus on what makes each of these fan bases the best in each sport. This one will focus on the best fan bases in the NFL.

New England Patriots

Yeah, unless you are a Patriots fan you probably hate them but their fans are widespread all across the nation. When they go on the road, the cheers from fans can still be heard throughout the road team’s stadium. It helps to cheer on a team that includes the greatest quarterback-head coach duo of all-time.

No matter if the scandal is “Deflategate” or “Spygate”, Pats fans are always going to stick with their team. Tom Brady served his suspension and fans still welcomed him back with open arms.

Dallas Cowboys

“America’s Team” is America’s Team. The Cowboys are the equivalent of the New York Yankees in baseball. They have fans all over the country and when their team is questioned, they point to their past success. It doesn’t matter that they haven’t come close to a Super Bowl since the days of Troy Aikman.

Their rookie tandem of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have made them the best team in football at the moment. They are both also part of the top of the list in selling jerseys. Cowboys fans are loyal to their team and stuck through all of those average seasons with Tony Romo before their rise a few years ago.

Pittsburgh Steelers

“The Terrible Towel” is always waving around wherever the Steelers go. This team like the other two has had a lot of success in the last decade. They have had so many great players to root for like Hines Ward or Troy Polamalu.

Now, they have Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, whom are both fun to watch play. It is tough to root against these guys unless you are a part of the fans from another team in their division.

Seattle Seahawks

The “12th Man” is a strong home-field advantage for the Seahawks. They are loud and make it very difficult for opposing offenses to hear the quarterback making adjustments and calling hike. Some may call them bandwagons because of the team’s more recent success, but they stick with their team.

Never forget when the “12th Man” caused a mini-earthquake during the playoffs on a run by Marshawn Lynch. Any crowd that can cause an earthquake simply by cheering has to be considered as one of the best fan bases in the NFL.

There are plenty of other good fan bases, but these are definitely at the top of the list. Check back as we continue with the NBA, MLB and NHL to see if your fan base made the list.
