The NFL’s Nike color rush uniforms have been polarizing since the league first unveiled them in 2012, to say the very least. While some have been received favorably by fans, some have been immediately reviled and on occasion the combination of the two color rush jerseys on the field just didn’t work.

But in Thursday night’s game between the Chargers and the Broncos, the fans seemed to be smitten with the Chargers’ new uniforms immediately.

Even the Broncos’ uni’s got some love.

However, as always, not everybody loved them.

Harsh, but point taken. Like them or not, the league seems insistent on keeping the new color rush tradition alive. Hopefully they hear the fans loud and clear tonight and can replicate the success.

Bryan Altman is, for some reason, an unabashed fan of the Rangers, Jets and Mets. If he absolutely had to pick a basketball team it would be the Knicks, but he’d gladly trade them for a championship for any of his other three teams.
