Sometimes these days, it’s hard to find good news and uplifting stories. Today, at least, we have one story that might help to restore your faith in humanity.

It comes from the Facebook page of Leah Paske, the mother of Florida middle school student Bo Paske. Bo is autistic and as his mom explains in the Facebook post, often ends up eating lunch by himself. Yesterday, however, Bo was joined at lunch by a new friend, Florida State Seminoles wide receiver Travis Rudolph.

If you take the time to read the whole post, you’ll know that Rudolph just made himself a couple of new fans from this gesture. As for why he decided to join Bo for lunch, Rudolph told ESPN that he remembers the impact that college and NFL players coming to schools to visit had on him when he was a kid.

Tip of the cap to you, Mr. Rudolph.
