The city of St. Louis was understandably, none too pleased about the decision to move the Rams to Los Angeles earlier this year. However, with the Rams gone, St. Louis fans have had plenty to celebrate with the Blues advancing to the Western Conference Finals and the start of the Cardinals season.

Granted, the Cardinals haven’t been their normally dominant selves so far this year, sitting at 18-16 so far this season. But, they’ve won two straight (including last night’s game) and five of their last seven so they’re starting to figure it out. Fans tuning in to last night’s contest against the Angels in LA were probably just hoping to enjoy a win over the struggling Angels, when they instead got an unwelcome surprise when this ad popped up behind home plate.

Now, the game was in California at the Angels home stadium, so this billboard makes sense. Still, for St Louis fans watching the Cardinals feed, it couldn’t have felt good to be reminded of the team that they lost not that long ago.
