The Purdue Boilermakers picked up their 18th win of the season last night over Minnesota 68-64. Boilermakers senior center AJ Hammons had a solid night with 16 points and 8 rebounds and 3 blocks. However, one of those rebounds was more spectacular than any of the others.

Yep, that’s the 7-foot, 260 pound Hammons running down the floor with just one shoe after losing it on the offensive end. He picked it up and continued to hold it in his hand as he boxed out his man and grabbed the rebound with the other hand. I guess you’re able to do that when you have massive hands. Smart play by Hammons to call a timeout immediately after grabbing the rebound too.
