Liberty Bowl
Kansas State vs. Arkansas

Spread: Arkansas -12.5
Total: 56

Spread: Arkansas was the darling pick by many in the media to surprise the SEC and be a major contender in the college football playoff race. Then, they forgot the season started and dropped games to Toledo, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and Alabama in five weeks. After this, everyone completely forgot about the Hogs who started playing excellent football. Kansas State is just another team that has come this far because of their fundamental play and great coach. Arkansas will push the Wildcats around all afternoon and should be able to win this game by two scores without any issue. Arkansas’ offense has proven they have the ability to score, and there’s simply no way this K-State team will be able to stop them. Pick: Arkansas 12.5

Total: Arkansas will determine whether this game gets to the number or not. They’ll be in control from start to finish and the total will hinge on when Bret Bielema and the Hogs take the foot off the pedal. Recently, the Razorbacks haven’t been very kind to their opponents scoring 50 or more in four of their final six games. Kansas State is going to struggle to score, so it’ll have to come mostly from the SEC representatives. Unless they back off, 56 shouldn’t be a problem. Pick: Over 56
