Music City Bowl
Louisville vs. Texas A&M

Spread: Louisville -4.5
Total: 47.5

Spread: Both teams have to feel like they are playing in a bowl game as a consolation prize for a terrible season, compared to expectations. However, Louisville is in a much better position to perform in the post season than Texas A&M. The Aggies have been an absolute mess offensively and are now tasked with a suburb defense that may have six future NFL players in the starting lineup. There’s really no reason to trust either Jake Hubenak vs. Lamar Jackson so it’s going to come down to which defense is crisper. Put the two D’s on a piece of paper and ask anyone to choose one, they’ll take Louisville, and it won’t be terribly close. Texas A&M could have really benefitted from a poor defensive opponent in their bowl game to try and get going for 2016, unfortunately for them, they didn’t get it. Pick: Louisville -4.5

Total: Defense defense and more defense, which is weird for a game that involves a Kevin Sumlin Texas A&M team. However, that’s the way it’s going to be with two young QB’s and two defensive units that are ready to chew them up. Sheldon Rankins and Devante Fields are going to wreak havoc on the Texas A&M offensive line and force Hubenak to make decisions quicker than he would like. On the other side, Lamar Jackson just isn’t ready to take on a D with the athleticism and speed of the Aggies. 47.5 isn’t a terribly tall task for a college football game, especially a bowl game, but this game might not even come close. Pick: Under 47.5
