With a new crop of All-Americans in the fold for John Calipari and Kentucky, it’s easy to forget about guys like Alex Poythress. Poythress is a former McDonald’s High School All-American and now a senior with the team after battling injuries the past couple years. He seems to be fully healthy now, though his teeth may be just a little worse for the wear after the Wildcats game against Duke last night.
Poythress catches an alley oop, finishes the dunk, then appears to check his mouth on the landing. Why?
Yep, the senior got his teeth caught on the net. Unintended consequence of dunking with your mouth open. Who knew?
