The internet wins again…

A YouTube user by the name of Johnny Fitz Live recently uploaded a couple of videos that displayed the Chicago Cubs-fanboy inside of him. First, Fitz created “Mortarrieta Kombat“, a play off Mortal Kombat, in which Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta takes out Bernie Brewer, the mascot of the Milwaukee Brewers. Then Fitz created “Card Hunt“, a play off Duck Hunt. In this video you are shooting at cardinal redbirds, obviously aimed at the St. Louis Cardinals.

Now Fitz has gone outside of the NL Central and is taking aim at the Cubs NLCS opponent, the New York Mets. “Chicago Cubs Punch Out” was released one day before the series is set to begin and it depicts the series in the Nintendo game, Punch-Out.”Cubbie Mac” takes on Mr. Met and, as you would expect, Fitz has his Cubbies emerging as the victor:

A clean sweep! If you jave no horse in the race, you almost want to see the Cubs advance just so you can see what Fitz has in store for the World Series. Until then, we can just sit back and enjoy the NLCS which begins tonight.
