We’re in the midst of a revolution in college football uniforms.  Each year, schools feature multiple different jersey styles for big game showdowns. Some, like Oregon and Maryland, are the benefactors of being able to count the CEO’s of major sports brands among their alumni (Phil Knight & Kevin Plank respectively).

Texas A&M which partners with Adidas, has featured new looks before.  None have looked quite like this. For the Halloween match-up with South Carolina, the Aggies will be wearing helmets that will light up when caught in the lights.

Fitting, considering the holiday that the helmets appear to have a “Jack-O-Lantern” quality to them.  If you want to see what the rest of the jerseys look like, the official press release from Adidas can be found here. This might be the coolest innovation yet, at least until Oregon releases those theoretical glow in the dark unis.
