The USA and Mexico men’s soccer teams renew their rivalry this Saturday at 9:30 pm on Fox Sports 1. As part of promoting the match, the Fox Soccer twitter account decided to make a hype video to get fans excited. Hype videos have become part of the sports culture and usually are pretty entertaining and will get you fired up. Fox Soccer used Donald Trump for their promo and it hasn’t exactly gone over well. First, here’s the hype video.
Now for the reactions, starting with the American Outlaws (official fan group of USA Soccer) who weren’t having it.
Other fans weren’t exactly in favor of the move either.
To be fair, Fox Sports posted this video as a response to the previously made hype video by TV Azteca using Trump.
Regardless, it doesn’t seem like USA fans were too excited or hyped by this video.
