San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has had his share of entertaining run-ins with the media over the years, in fact it’s something that he’s become known for.  When Pop isn’t in the mood to answer questions interviews can turn very awkward, very quickly. That leads us to today during Spurs media day when NBA TV’s Jared Greenberg attempted to get some sound bites out of Pop.  Key word there is attempted.

Popovich starts out surly before admitting that he’s having some fun with Greenberg towards the tail end of the clip.  He says he’s “getting ready for the season”.  Well, judging by the first minute or so, it seems like Pop is well into mid-season form in answering media questions.
