After 80 hours, the biggest NBA free agent has made a decision and forward LaMarcus Aldridge will sign with the San Antonio Spurs. Shortly after 12pm EST on The Fourth of July, Aldridge took to twitter to announce his decision:

The former Trail Blazer had met with Portland and San Antonio among seven NBA teams who were trying to recruit him. Aldridge, a Texas native, decided to return home and is expected to sign a 4yr max contract.

This completes a stellar offseason for the Spurs who also re-signed their own free agents Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green. Also, Tim Duncan announced last week that he will return for what will be his 19th NBA season. The team is still waiting on a decision from guard Manu Ginobili on if he will return next season but it appears the Spurs dynasty will just keep rolling along into its third decade.
