Cam Newton has taken the NFL by storm this season and, in my opinion, this game will be no different. I totally understand how good the Broncos' defense is, but in a way it can work as a detriment in the Super Bowl as their outstanding pass rush might get upfield too quickly, leaving Newton to drift past that first layer and find tons of open space. I think he'll have an enormous game with his legs. On top of that, I think people grossly underestimate the Carolina defense, a defense that could very well get to Peyton Manning and knock him around a bit. Carolina Panthers 35, Denver Broncos 19.

I just can’t shake this feeling that the Broncos are lucky to be here. They easily could’ve lost to the Steelers and the Patriots. It was New England’s shoddy offensive line that cost the Pats a trip to their second straight Super Bowl. Carolina’s line is much better. And if Cam Newton gets in trouble, he can make something out of nothing. The Panthers defense is real as well. I don’t see the Broncos putting up enough points to win. It’s Cam’s world now and it will be the Panthers title.

A lot of folks are picking Carolina right away because of how dominating the Panthers have looked in the postseason. After taking a look at both teams, I have to agree with most: I like the Panthers. I think the Broncos deserve credit for the way they played against the Patriots. It was impressive to watch how they beat up Tom Brady. However, I think the Panthers present an entirely different challenge. First, they bring a running game as Jonathan Stewart has been solid while Cam Newton always poses a threat to take off. That in itself won't allow Von Miller and Demarcus Ware to just tee off on every play like they did against the Patriots. I also think that the AFC Championship game was Denver's Super Bowl. They beat the hated Pats and it's all they talked about all week long - just how much they hated them and how big the game was. Unless CJ Anderson and Ronnie Hillman go off for 150-plus yards, I see Carolina as being the much better team. Carolina Panthers 31, Denver Broncos 17

After the beating the Panthers handed the Cardinals, how could you not pick them to win the Super Bowl? However, there are a few injuries on the defensive side of the ball that concern me. If they’re healthy this game will be more about the defenses than the quarterbacks. But you have to put up points somehow and that’s where Cam Newton has the advantage over Peyton Manning. The Broncos haven’t cracked the 30 point mark in their last seven games and that won’t fly against Carolina. Carolina Panthers 30, Broncos 20.
