One of the most contentious debates that we have as sports fans is whether players from one era could beat players from a different era. This debate generally leads to long-winded points on both sides as to why era one could beat era two before both sides agree to disagree. Now, thanks to NBA 2K, we may have a way to settle at least one of those time honored questions: Could today’s Team USA have beaten the Dream Team?
Yesterday, the NBA 2K official YouTube page dropped a trailer for this year’s upcoming game that will feature the entire roster for the Dream Team (yes, Charles Barkley included this time) and this year’s 2016 Team USA that’s currently competing for a medal in Rio.
Now, yes, this is in video game form, which proves exactly nothing in the real world. However, if you and your friend have recently been on opposite sides of this argument, well, now you have a way to settle it. Take both teams to the virtual court and battle for supremacy.
NBA 2K17 hits stores on Sept. 20, 2016.
